Covid 19: We Commends What El- Rufa’i Is Doing – Ishaku

The Chairman, National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, Kaduna State Council, Comrade Ishaku Yakubu, has described the COVID-19, the Coronavirus as a pandemic that is ravaging the whole world. The number of death recording in the whole world is seriously alarming.
He then appreciates the effort of the State Governor, Mall. Nasir Ahmed  El-Rufai and the State Commissioner of Health on the steps they are taking as  worthy of commendations.
He called on the general public to give them all the necessary supports towards the measures they are taking. He also calls on the general public to avoid close contact or any gathering that may lead to contact of the virus.
He maintain that “If you are going to the market, person should just go straight to where he is going to buy what you want to buy and go home” they should also abide by the measures taken by the state government.
He reiterated that what the government is doing is for the interest of the citizens and call on the people to imbibe the culture of washing hands, wearing of mask and to maintain distance to avoid close contacts.
He appreciated what the nurses and health workers are doing, saying they are at forefront in the hospitals placing their lives at risk.
While calling on the government to provide all the necessary equipments to the nurses for the services they are rendering, with that, providing them with the  equipment will motivate them.
The facilities in the hospital for now are okay but he pleaded with the government to do more, because some of the facilities are not enough.
