Death Of Bantex Came to Me As A Rude Shock – Isa Ashiru Kudan

The death, of the immediate past Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Architect Barnabas Yusuf Bala Bantex on Sunday July 11 2021, was described  as a rude shock which I have not yet been able to overcome.

“Having known that the deceased was a politician who showed tremendous commitment to the peace and development in our dear Kaduna State, I must acknowledge the fact that his demise has created a vacuum which can hardly be filled in the near future”.

Isa Ashiru said, Barnabas Yusuf Bala Bantex, Either as elected Chairman of Kaura Local Government Council, Member of the Federal House of Representatives, first substantive Chairman of All Progressives Congress [APC] in Kaduna State or lastly the Deputy Governor of the State he discharged his responsibilities diligently.

” Late Bala Bantex was a leader who deployed all his energy, knowledge and skills towards the promoting unity among the various communities in Kaduna State and will therefore be terribly missed especially considering the current dire need for an improved security and peace in the State”, Ashiru revealed.

It is my belief that a lot can be learnt from his style of politics and general attitude which were characterised by humility, openness and concern for the people.

Most of those who had a cause to associate or interact with him have already testified that he gave his best for the good of the people”.

On behalf of my family, friends and associates, I wish to condole with the Kaduna State Government, All Progressives Congress and most importantly His Excellency’s immediate family over his unfortunate death and also pray to almighty God to give us the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

 We should all derive consolation from the fact that he lived a fulfilled life.
