As an annual tradition, top Kaduna-based multiple award winning Online Platform, Authentic News Daily has announced winners of the 8th edition of its prestigious awards for the year 2022.
A statement by its Consulting Editor, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson on Monday, named the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele as its Man of the Year 2022.
According to the statement, Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi is the AUTHENTIC POLITICIAN of the Year, while an activist, Senator Dino Melaye emerged Opposition Figure of the Year.
President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engr Musa Nimrod emerged Sports Personality of the Year for the fifth time, after winning same in 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
“As it was done in the seven previous editions, winners of the awards in the 17 categories have emerged,” it stated.
The statement congratulated the winners, while urging them to keep up the good works that earned them the recognition.
