People of Jigawa state have been charged to rally round governor Badaru Abubakar led administration its efforts to move the state to the greater heights.

Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina state gave the charge during the commissioning ceremony of Kiyawa township road executed by Governor Abubakar Badaru led administration.
Governor Masari louds the administration for the completion of inherited projects and embarking of several others.
He explained that road projects are critical to the social and economic activities of any society.
The governor urged the benefitting communities to ensure proper maintenance of the project for longer use.
He expressed his appreciation to his counterpart Alhaji Badaru Abubakar for the honor accorded to him.
Earlier the Jigawa state Governor Alh Mohd Badaru Abubakar said the newly constructed Kiyawa township roads were commissioned alongside the other rehabilitated ones.
Governor Badaru Abubakar also disclosed that the plans are underway to award a contract for the construction of General Hospital in Kiyawa town the headquarters of Kiyawa local government.
He added that street lights would also be installed on the roads in order to beautify the town.
He further explained that each local government across the state had benefitted with one developmental project or the other.
He expressed gratitude to President Muhammad Buhari for his support the state without which the projects could not have been possible.
Also speaking the Commissioner of Works in the state Engineer Aminu Usman Yakubu said the township road project which was awarded at the cost of over 781 Million Naira in December 2018 had been successfully completed.
According to him the state government had also completed several projects inherited from the last administration, before embarking on the new ones.
He stated that the administration has awarded 19 regional roads,13 township roads and 15 feeder roads across the state.
According to him the administration also rehabilitated several other dilapidated roads across the state with a view to easing transaction difficulties in the state.
On behalf of the benefitting communities Member representing Dutse/Kiyawa Federal constituency Hon Tijjani Ibrahim thanked the state government for the project and requested for more people oriented projects particularly those captured in this year’s budget.
