I DID NOT RESIGN MY APPOINTMENT AS KSMC BOARD CHAIRMAN – YAKUBU LERE

My attention has been drawn to a malicious, false, and misleading report alleging that I have resigned my appointment as Chairman of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) Management Board.

I wish to categorically state that I have neither resigned nor contemplated resigning from this appointment. I remain fully committed to the responsibilities entrusted to me and continue to discharge my duties in accordance with the mandate of the Kaduna State Government.

The publication is a fabrication by mischief makers intended to misinform the public and create unnecessary speculation.

I therefore urge the public to disregard the report in its entirety.

We remain focused on strengthening the Corporation and supporting ongoing reforms in the public communication sector of the state.

May Allah continue to guide and protect us all.
