A broadcast journalist, late Jacob Haruna Zango, has been laid to rest in his hometown of U/Ruhogo (Abuyab) in the Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Loved ones, friends, media practitioners, and well-wishers converged on the town on Friday to pay their last respect for the late media guru.
The town; Abuyab, and its people, along with several travelling from all around the state, came by amid the burial rites, which included the service of songs held at his former hometown.
Meawhile, at the funeral service, people were offered the opportunity to give testimonies about the life of the deceased, amongst which include the Chairman of NUJ, Kaduna Council, Comrade Asma’u Yawo Halilu.
During the burial, the officiating priest, pastor Makurvet Dawuda, reminded all, of the need to remember life after death.
Late Zango was born on the 17th April, 1968 to the family of late Mr. and Mrs. Zango Bwayin Kura in Abuyab, Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
