KASUPDA expresses dismay on the developments without approvals

Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) has expressed ut’s displeasure on the ongoing developments without obtaining approvals from the Authority.

The Authority stressed that, in view of the successful achievements recorded so far in the urban planning, urban renewal and city beautification in Kaduna State, KASUPDA has noted with concern on the decision embarked upon by some individuals for commencing developments and placing shops,

containers, kiosks and other signages without obtaining buildings permission or obtaining temporary appovals, while hawkers were also returning on their trading activities along the roads set backs.

In the light of this, the Authority wishes to remind the general public that, KASUPDA is the sole Agency charged with the responsibility of urban planning in Kaduna State.

KASUPDA is hereby re-affirming commitment on the discharging of its mandates for sustaining and improving urban planning standard, in view of the safety and security in our dear State.

Failure to adhere with the rules and regulations, KASUPDA will not hesitate to take appropriate action as stipulated by the Law accordingly.
