The leadership of the National Association of Kaduna State Students (NAKASS) commended the governor of Kaduna State Sen. Uba Sani for the educational reforms in Kaduna State.
The leadership noted that, prior to the coming of this administration, students of Kaduna State have lost hope, and many students dropped out from secondary schools and university due to outrageous hike in tuition fees, some students were thinking of joining the street boys to create and inculcate problems to the society.
“But we thank God for bringing Sen. Uba Sami on board, who within his first hundred days announces a reduction in tuition fees for all the tertiary institutions in the state and recently announces a considerable cut in the school fees of Kaduna Capital School”.
The union also added that Sen. Uba Sani also reforms the Kaduna State Scholarship scheme, giving all students equal opportunity and easily access without stress and payment of any levy.
The governor proved to the students that he is the governor for the students by appointing a special adviser and two special assistants on students’ matters, which is easier for students to register their complain to the government.
” we are witness Sen. Uba Sani is critically revamping the educational sector a digital modern hub for learning”.
This was made possible by introducing an ICT based educational system, and that can be traced since his senatorial representative days were he facilitated and established many ICT centers in secondary schools and tertiary institutions.
The executive governor, since inception into the office, had constructed a significant number of classrooms for secondary schools, He also renovated a number of secondary schools with qualified personnel to monitor the learning environment. All these are efforts to provide an enabling and conducive atmosphere for students learning in Kaduna State.
We therefore send the warm regard, solidarity, and appreciation of Kaduna State Students to the governor for restoring hope and confidence in the minds of Kaduna State students.
