Over Seven Thousand Students Failed Mock Examination In Sokoto

Seven thousand two hundred and twenty three (7,223) final year students in the State Public schools are not qualified for the State government registration of 2020 SSCE.

Director examinations of the State Ministry for Basic and Secondary Education Malam Shehu Muhammad Lema announced this while commenting on the release of MOCK examination conducted recently by the Ministry.

He said the candidates have failed to secure the required passes.

Malam Lema however said of the twenty five thousand three hundred and ninety three (25,393) candidates that sat for the examination, eighteen thousand one hundred and seventy (18,170) have scored the required results.

According to him all candidates that scored at least one credit and three passes as well as those who scored passes across all the five subjects are qualified for registration.

He called on Principals to come to the department of examinations of the Ministry to collect the results of the students.
