REMOVAL OF OIL SUPPORT;  IN SEARCH OF PEOPLE’S EASY LIFE – AMINU IBRAHIM

By Imrana Abdullahi, Kaduna Northwest Nigeria

Aminu Ibrahim is the head of A S Goronyo in Keke-Napep, he explained the issue of fuel subsidy that at the moment everyone sees it as an important matter to help everyone so find ways for the people to get relief.

Yes, we are calling on Govetnment at all level to find a way as a lasting solution to the issue of fuel subsidy removal in Nigeria.

Aminu Ibrahim disclosed this during an interview with the media at his office in Kaduna.

“Indeed, it is seen that the old government did not include the issue of the subsidy in the budget system, and the current government is seen to be working hard, reaching back and forth to see that there is a balance in matters.  We hope that there will be success in this difficult life that the people are going through, so God will bring us a solution”.

Regarding the issue of fuel prices that are affecting the public as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy, he said that all the people in the transport industry, if they do not act carefully, will only mislead the public, because of the fuel price situation.  that is why many people are unable to pay for the vehicles they ride for traders.

And the drivers of oil vehicles have become expensive to the point that there are some drivers who cannot pay the compensation, as a result of which now only a few drivers are able to pay the compensation to the owners of the vehicles.  They have a range of vehicles from Cars to Motorcycles.

“There was a man who confirmed to me that he drank five thousand naira for fuel but what he got after traveling around and traveling all around for rent was only two hundred and he got after he got five thousand naira for fuel, that’s why it happened  That’s just worship since the driver and the family are in dire straits because everyone is under stress and anxiety due to the current situation.

That’s why we are calling on the government to make it easier for the community because of this fuel subsidy that is being talked about in the past, even if some people eat with sweat, but the ease will come to the community even though they say that it will go a little further.  the poor man will be happy, we are praying for that.

“Our biggest demand is to do justice to the people and let the workers get out of the current situation they are in. And the people should do justice to the government, because if we go back to insulting and slandering the leaders  the situation will not help because doing what will bring a solution is just to get relief and may God help us.
