Speaker Abbas Donate 10 Seater Bus To NUJ Zaria Unit

The Speaker House of Representatives Rt. Hon Abbas Tajuddeen  has donated a 10 Seater Sharon bus to members of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Zaria Unit.

Presenting the award form to the Union in his Constituency office today Sunday the Chief Constituency Officer to the Speaker Alhaji Isma’il Mohammed  Yesco said, the donation is part of the Speakers mission to work with Journalists for progress and cordial relationship.

He said, the Speaker is very much concern on how Journalists operating in Zaria without operational vehicle.

The Speaker hoped that with the donation of the 10 Seater bus it will assist the Journalists to discharged their duties delivently.

Responding on behalf of the NUJ Zaria Unit the Vice Chairman Sani Aliyu expressed their appreciation over the gesture by the Rt. Hon. Speaker Dr. Abbas Tajuddeen to the Journalists in Zaria.

He described the donation of the vehicle as the first of its kind which for long the Zaria Journalists are waiting for this wonderful moment.

Comrade Sani Aliyu said, the Speaker has boost their moral and wake them up to the challenges ahead in their day to day reporting.

The Union assured Mr. Speaker of their continuous coverage of his activities with full strength as 80 percent of our predicaments were solved in terms of logistics.
