Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa has been declared as the legitimately elected president of the National Union of Drivers NURTW who was elected in accordance with the rules and provisions of the constitution of the union.
This information came from the new National Vice President of the Union and President of NURTW in Kaduna State, Alhaji Aliyu Tanimu Zariya, during an interview with the press men at the office of the Union in Kaduna.
Alhaji Aliyu Tanimu Zaria said that the legitimate elected president of the union in the country is Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa, who was elected based on the constitutional provision of the organization.
“I am calling on all the members of the group and anyone who is not happy with this election, to take legal action to get the necessary benefits. That is why I am calling on the members of the union in the country to continue to be active. Loyalty to the group and they should not allow anyone or others to do what is against the rules, because there is need for every one to be comfortable”.
As Alhaji Aliyu Tanimu Zaria told journalist that he is indeed the elected vice president and Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa is the national president of NURTW.
According to the electoral process is done as it is in the constitution of the organization that is NURTW, based on the six regions that exist in Nigeria, it has been placed in this region of ours and we have conducted and there is a headquarters for the North-West region in Zamfara State and there we went and sat down and the electoral system was issued and people as an observers were sent from the headquarters of the national union of the NURTW and it was confirmed that everyone was seated, the president of the state, the secretary, treasurer and the two delegates. from all the seven states.
And that is from there that I got the vice president based on what the deligets did, I got it, but the then vice president who was himself was the one who sought the leadership of the country and the seat of Auditor is a seat that is there Alhaji Yahuza Yankaba was the leader of Jigawa State and he came out with the support of the leaders of this region including the chairmen, secretary, treasurer and all two delegates from each state in this zone, they all gave full cooperation. and support as those with the right to vote as provided by the constitution of the organization, they showed their support for Alhaji Danjuma Babura Jigawa, Alhaji Yahuza, Alhaji Yawale and Alhaji Dan Auwade, they all came together and withdrew their candidacy against Alhaji Danjuma Babura. then there is the matter of the trust group that is trustees, as there is Alhaji Ibrahim Kuka Lere Guga who is from Zamfara who is on the seat and on their side the leaders brought out Alhaji Hamisu Kasuwar Daji and he was confirmed as a trustee as per the law Many delegations were made and this was confirmed.
Aliyu Tanimu Zaria told the media that this kind of thing has been done in every region in all the parts of the country and it has been kept that if God reaches us on the twenty-fourth or twenty-fifth of this month, it will be confirmed that it has been launched. that is, all elected presidents were sworn in as per the provisions of the constitution of the union.
And that is why a meeting was held in Nasarawa State and there we gathered all the 34 states that participated in this important meeting including Abuja and I myself was one of those who attended the swearing in of the president that is Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa as the president of the NURTW national organization with other officials selected at the zonal level that is us, the secretaries and the treasurer all together with the delegates who gathered at that place.
“So we now know Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa,as a leader and we know him as a leader and we don’t know anyone other than him and God’s power”.
Tanimu Zaria then informed the public that as everyone knows every time there is an election there will be some people who say that what was done was not done and others should be honest and say that he did the right thing.
What I know is that even in the national government and political parties, when it is said that there is a problem in the conduct of elections or someone sees that something has been done, they are not satisfied, it is not the adoption of the law. A person’s hand is not only what is done, a person will collect what he sees, the evidence in his hand is better than the court because it is the court that can give a person his rights if he thinks that something wrong has been done to him.
He added that the matter of going back and forth, we are aware of those who think what has been done is wrong, that is to confirm Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa as the leader is not what they need, this is their opinion.
In the states we used to have votes and delegates and we made the election for what we chose at every level and we issued the leadership according to the constitution of the organization.
“I am appealing to all members of the organization in the states to continue to know that this organization is blessed and that it has a large number of people who eat under it, so those who are in charge because when they were in leadership, they were allowed to do it and live in peace, so it is appropriate now to allow those who are in leadership to live in peace, it is the development of the organization and its brotherhood with the whole country.
Then the members should be obedient to the leaders because if they obey it will help to live in peace, but as long as the one who is on the ground, this dispute is a matter that has arisen for the national headquarters, so you who are on the ground in another region or city do not have a dispute.
It is not your only wish to pray and hope for God’s help. Every problem that arises, we see the political conflicts of the Government, it comes and goes, and the same goes for organizations like this. I hope that God will come before us and guide us and all those who seek to bring us a cause in this organization, God knows them better than we do and will deal with them.
The Vice President Aliyu Tanimu Zaria also called on the authorities that as it is known the purpose of establishing the authority is to ensure peace and protect the lives of the people and their property. So, we are calling on all the security agencies to keep an eye on this kind of insulting someone or using an opportunity to destroy the community’s property or to cause a conflict, so we are calling on them to take action.
For anyone who is not satisfied with what has been done, he goes to the court and says that he will gather people and make noise or explode or throw stones until it affects someone who doesn’t care. We are living in peace in our country and our states, so everything that will cause conflicts that started on the ground should be ignored.
“Thank God, this group from the national level to the state level here in Kaduna, in fact we have many levels and we are burning this place in the secretariat of our state group, we do not rent a house. The group owns the place because every president who comes does it. It is something for the development of the organization because it allows the organization to continue to benefit and progress because that is why the previous presidents established the construction of this place until we came here and added other things to the house. You see, we built the house.
We have opened the vehicle transport sector to increase the group’s income and we are attracting more and more those who are not willing to be leaders. We have done this at least four times a year and we hope we will do it in the future with the power of God.
