Nigeria @63:  Nigerians urged to join hands, build great, prosperous nation – Prof Badamasi Lawal

Nigerians have been urged to rally round the Government of President Ahmed Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he is taking bold steps to rebuild Nigeria through his Renewed Hope Agenda.
The charge was made by Prof Badamasi Lawal, the commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Sffairs of Katsiîna State, Nirthwest Nigeria as Nigeria celebrates its 63rd Independence anniversary
He made the call while interacting with media reporters, Sunday morning, observing that founding fathers of Nigeria, who fought for Nigeria’s independence should be appreciated and honoured for the great sacrifices they made in making Nigeria evolved as a sovereign nation.
The contributions of Nigerians in sustaining the nation despite turbulence in the political, economic, religious and. social spheres is a clear indication that. Nigerian are resilient and committed to the growth of the nation.
He observed that the road to becoming a great nation has never been easy anywhere and therefore the measures being put in place for Nigeria to grow and developed should be appreciated and supported by all Nigerians.

He cited the efforts being made by the governor of Katsina State, Dr Dikko Radda who is running pillar to post, discussing with relevant stakeholders, employing local vigilantes to assist the conventional security agencies and spending billions of naira to save the lives and properties of Katsina residents and whoever is in Katsina doing legitimate business.
The efforts of Governor Dikko Radda in making Katsina grow and prosper are manifesting in all ramifications. These include the the rebirth in local government administration as local government councils have now become alive and kicking as funds are provided to them for life touching projects in the area of security, health, water suply and other infrastructural developments.
 Education has also received serious attention as 7325  teachers have been recruited to address manpower shortage and reduce unemployment in the teaming youth in the state.
Katsina state is proud  to have about 40,000 teachers who are ready  and willing to educationally  propel the state to greatness.
