The katsina state government has given permission for motorcycle and Keke Napep operators to continue running under certain conditions in the state .
The state commissioner of information, culture and Home Affairs, Alhaji Abdulkareem Yahaya Sirika disclosed this during a press briefing held at government house katsina
The commissioner explained that operators and passengers must wear facemasks, carry along sanitizers, and observe physical distancing.
Other condition, he said include a motorcycle operator must not Carry more than one person while Keke Napep operators must not Carry more than two passengers.
The commissioner announced that the state now expects results from more than 800 samples from across local governments in the state.
Alhaji Yahaya Sirika disclosed that 8 patients have been discharged while 8 patients too have died.
He assured that the publicity sub committee of the taskforce on Covid-19 would continue to educate and enlighten people on the dangers of the virus.
He also expressed hope that the people would continue to abide by the lockdown order in the state.
