In a statement issued by the Public Relations Executive (PRE) of the Authority, Nuhu Garba Dan’ayamaka, on behalf of the Director General, Mal. Isma’il Umaru Dikko noted that arrangements on street naming and house numbering exercise by the Authority have been worked out for implementation in Kaduna metropolis, while those of Zaria and Kafanchan reached advanced stage.
The statement stressed that the exercise though tedious was achieved with commitment and high professional standing.
The DG further re-affirmed that the realization of the exercise will assist with easy identification of places, areas, streets, roads and houses in the metropolis.
According to him it will also contribute immensely in confronting insecurity and improve good planning under Urban Renewal Initiatives of the State Government under the leadership of His Excellency,Governor Malam Nasiru Ahmed El-Rufa’i.
