National president of National Agricultural Mechanization co- operative society of Nigeria Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Waziri (Santurakin) Tudun wada Kaduna has said that their target is to feed the whole of Africa.


Aliyu Muhammad Waziri said In an efforts to boost the economic activity of Nigeria, the National Agricultural Mechanization Cooperative Society Of Nigeria ( NAMCON) has Inaugurated new Executives that are going to champion the activities of Katsina state chapter of the association.



“We are going to use the Nomadic system with an intention to boot the irrigation farming”.



Speaking on why they established NAMCON in Nigeria the President Comrade Aliyu Muhammad Waziri the Santurakin Tudun Wada Kaduna said they have many projects including NAMCS Super Five (5) that is geared toward empowering people, poverty alleviation, supporting the economic sustainability plan of the federal Government.



The rest are number Nigerian machanized agro extension service scheme the second is women nurturing empowerment scheme Birds for wealth, the third is home grown skills acquisition and Nigerian Agricultural market space and online dedicated for buying and selling of Nigerian agro produce and the number five is farmers house affordable housing scheme for farmers in the rural areas.



The national president of NAMCON Aliyu Muhammad Waziri the Santurakin Tudun Wada Kaduna, explain that they are coming with so many programmes jointly with three federal Government ministries that of Agriculture and rural development, ministry of commerce, ministry of communication and digital economy under Shaikh Pantami, all with an intention to move Nigerian economy to the next level for the benefit of all.



” We are also working with some federal Government parastatals like NAFDAC and those responsible for taking Nigerian Products to the rest of the world for market and sales”, Santuraki Said.



“Our intention is to take the young graduates out of the street for job creation because every year we are having young graduates without anything doing and no Government can provide job for every one”.

” Promoting the culture of consuming what we produced and producing what we can consume in the country”, Santuraki explain.

“We established this NAMCON with an intention to reduced poverty amongs the society with hope that each and every one is going to benefits from the programme”.



We are going to boost the economy of the country, the single reason that some students that are graduates from various schools but there is no jobs so with NAMCON programme all is going to be self reliance”, Aliyu Waziri Said.

In his remark the katsina state chairman National Agricultural mechanization and Cooperative Society, Alhaji Abdullahi Maikaita Ummaru, revealed that with the help and hardworking Katsina state is going to be ahead of others.



Mai kaita, told the participants from all the 34 local Government of Katsina state that there are so many issues that their programmes are going to bring for the country to move forward.

” we have many programmes on how to use Agriculture for business and also on livestock production”.

The zonal coordinators in Katsina state are ;

Lawal Inuwa Funtua co odinetor Funtua zone

Usman Umar Daura from Daura zone and Abdullahi Shu’aibu Katsina zone.



Others are Alhaji Shehu Dan Musa, Alhaji Magaji, Alh Abubakar M Doro, Muhammad Saifullahi Safana and Alh Abdullahi Usman all from Katsina zone.

From Funtua zone there are Shu’aibu Sa’idu Musawa, Abdullahi Hatuna Musawa, Salisu A Sule Malumfashi and Umar Masari, others are Jafar, Fahad Sama’ila Faskari, Abdullahi Abubakar Dandume.



From Daura Zone

Bashir Aliyu Sandamu, Bashir Danjuma Mai’aduwa, Musa Salisu, Bala Dahiru, Lawal Halliru, Abdurrashid Sa’ad Mashi, Yusuf Nalado Daura, Ibrahim Sa’id Baure, Abas Mohammad Kankiya and Hamza Hamisu Karfi.
