The Northwesr people’s Democratic party (PDP) Youth leader in the North-West Zone, Honorable Atiku Muhammad Yabo, the Sarkin Yakin Yabo, has condoled with the people who were affected by the boat accident on their way to Yawuri Market in Kebbi State.
As we have received information that some people have been traveling in a boat from Gebbe, Kasaba and other places on the banks of the Niger to Yawuri river in Kebbi state and there was a problem of the boat overturning a few meters to their Destination
That’s why we sympathized with the Yawuri emirate and PDP Senator Garba Musa Maidoki who represents the people of Yawuri emirate.
Atiku Muhammad Yabo continued to explain that “in fact, the incident is an unfortunate incident that is very sad and everyone should feel the burden of what has taken the lives of at least 35 people and some of them are lying there suffering from illness as a result of the problem.
“We are calling on all the authorities involved in this matter to quickly do the right things in order to provide relief to the victims.
It is on this basis that we condole and send a message of condolence to the Yawuri emirate and the senator that is representing the area, that is Senator Garba Musa Maidoki over the incident.
We also pray for God’s mercy for those who were affected by the incident and for those who were injured, may God grant them health and return the losses.
“We are also calling on and alerting the authorities to provide life jackets and other protective equipment for all passengers and drivers and working in boats or boats that are used in the water areas. who are all present in and across the borders of Nigeria”.
