Sokoto State Government Earmarked 48.8 Million For The Construction Of Five Modern Refuse Bunker In The State.
In a Statement Signed By Mr. Ghani Abdullahi Public Relation Officer of the Min of Environment, Sokoto state.
This was disclosed today by the Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Environment Sokoto, Alhaji Sagir Attahiru Bafarawa while briefing journalists at one of the locations where one of the bunkers will be constructed.
Strategic areas where the bunkers will be constructed include Almustapha Road, Dallatu-Tudun-Wada Area, and Kara-Gangaren Kuffa area among others. Other locations include Fakon-Idi and Kasuwar-Kanawa-Bauchi road axis.
During the inspection visit to one of the construction sites at Almustapha Road, the Hon. Commissioner was accompanied by the
SSA to Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Alhaji Mu’azu Abubakar (Madawakin-Sokoto), MD SEPA, Alh (Dr.) Kasimu Muhammad Yabo and other Directors of the Ministry.
