Sultan, EFCC work to drive commission’s preventive mandate success

SULTAN of Sokoto and President General , Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has expressed readiness to actively support the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) to mandate against financial crimes.
The revered monarch gave his words at the weekend when he received on courtesy call to his palace, the anti graft agency Sokoto Zonal Command team on officials visit led by ACE I Aliyu Yunusa.
Abubakar said the doors of the Sultanate were open the commission , explaining that there were series of literature written over 200 years ago addressing the impracticable problem of corruption, economic and financial crimes.
” The Sultanate council as an institution will not relent in its drive at extending and promoting positive aspects of development that will bring sanity , good morals and societal change for a better Nigeria.”
Earlier, the Zonal Commander told the top religious leader that their visit was deliberate towards bracing fraternity by seeking support, accept corrections inorder to deepen responsive operations  for the commission while disclosing the commission’s deliberate initiative to open a direct line of communication with the Caliphate that has was originally established by Othman bin Fodiyo.
Commander Yunusa thanked and commended the revered leader for his resilience and unequalled contributions to strengthening efforts at ensuring Nigeria attained greatness within the dynamic and space of opportunities.
