People of Illela Local Government Area of Sokoto state especially members and supporters of the All Progressives congress, (APC), have continued to show their love, affection and loyalty to APC gubernatorial candidate in the state for the forhcoming general eections, Hon. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, FCNA.

This became more glaring on Saturday, when the candidate and his entourage visited the area on an invitation of one of the party’s stalwarts in the area for a wedding Fatiha.
Ahmad Aliyu, his running mate, Idris Muhammad Gobir and other important dignitaries who accompanied him to Illela used the visit to make a stop over at the APC office in the area in order to re-energize APC members to continue to stay glued for the victory of APC come 2023.
He thanked all those who came to give him a rousing welcome even as he said it was not a political campaign visit.
He further explained that, Illela local government has for long being reputed as a reliable home for his political mentor, the former Sokoto state Governor, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, therefore, he said, he was not surprised by the mammoth crowd seen during the visit.
He thanked them immensely for what he called a brotherly reception accorded him and his entourage.
The entourage was received at Illela town, by APC Chairman in the area, Alhaji Muhammadu Sarkin Alaru, APC House of Representatives candidate for Gwadabawa/Illela Federal Constituency, Hon. Bello Isah Ambarura and the candidate for the state House of Assembly, Hon. Sirajo Danjumma, among many others.
