NON-PAYMENT OF SALARY: ZAMFARA WORKERS SEEKS GOD INTERVENTION

Due to non payment of Salary Zamfara state Government Civil servants have
observed a  special prayers at the Eid mosque on Saturday in the capital city Gusau, at around 10:00am, the 13th May year, 2023, seeking God to intercede for them so that the state government will pay them their salaries.
In a statement issued to news men available to the shieldg online revealed that
Some of the civil servants, (whos their name’s withheld) noted that workers were not paid their salaries for about three months now, from (February, March and April).
That is why they are now seeking God intervention as they explained, “we are  seeking for God’s intervention on the lingering issue that had affected the civil servants and pensioners in the state”.
“Many of us have been pushing to be beggars, unable to eat one square meal a day”.
“You see many people begging now because things are not easy for most of the workers now in Zamfara state”
“So, this prayer session is specially means to commit our dear governor, Head of Service, members of House of Assembly and all those concerned, for God to enable them to have compassion on us.
“We have suffered enough on account of this struggle, many lost their lives too and we want it no more. We have gathered in unison devoid of religious affiliations to sincerely seek God’s intervention for all,” he said.
