The office of the Special Adviser to the Zamfara state Governor on Bilateral and Multiletaral Affairs Dr. Suleiman Shuaibu Shinkafi is to organize a talent show, aimed at identifying the talented Youths who will be assisted to develop their skills for peace, unity and progress of the state.
In a statement Signed by Dr. Suleiman Shuaibu Shinkafi. Special Adviser to Governor Matawalle On Bilateral and Multiletaral Zamfara state, made available to newsmen revealed that.
The Program tagged “Zamfara State Got Talent 2022” was initiated by the Directorate in order to showcase the potentialities of the talented Youths.
Under the arrangement, the Directorate Bilateral and Multiletaral Affairs would make sure that those talented Youths from across the 14 local government areas of the state were registered in order to enable the Government to utilize their talent for socioeconomic development of the state.
It is a known fact that, Youths are the backbone of a nation. There is no country or state that can develop without Youths. This is because the Youths determine the direction as well as the future of any nation.
Against this background, it is expected that governments at all levels should try as much as possible to develop the capabilities and potentials of the Youths.
This is one of the reasons why the Directorate under the leadership of Governor Matawalle has come up with skills and capacity-development platforms such as Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurship Programme and Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme.
Governor Matawalle has also built supportive framework for all this to thrive and grow in the State, showing clearly that the State Government is committed to the welfare of its teeming Youths.
Considering the level of joblessness, unemployment, poverty and insecurity, there is the need for the government to try as much as possible to discover the talented Youths and assist them to use their talent to become self-reliant.
Finally, I am calling on youths in the state to come up and register which will at the end give them the opportunity to develop their talents for socioeconomic growth of Zamfara state.
