The Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) has launched and flagged off of mobile advertisements certificate for 2026.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Deputy Director of the Public Affairs Unit, Nuhu Garba Dan-Ayamaka.
In his speech, the Commissioner of Housing and Urban Development, Rt.Hon. Aminu Abdullahi Shagali, Ph.D has commended KASUPDA for its proactive initiatives
The Commissioner who was represented during the launching by the Director of Urban and Regional Development in the Ministry. TPL. Usman Shehu Abdullahi has reiterated the Ministry’s commitment of continue support the initiatives programme embarked upon by KASUPDA for the set-objectives.
Rt. Hon. Aminu Shagali also appreciated the various Government’s Agencies involved in the mobile advertisements activities, stakeholders and other organisations for their support and co-operation. He pledged the state government commitment of listening to the people and given human considerations.
The Director-General of the Authority, Bldr. Abdurrahman Yahya, Ph.D viewed that KASUPDA was the second to launched mobile advertisements certificate last year for the 2025 after Lagos State. He expressed delight for the opportune of being the first to launched for the year 2026.
Bldr. Abdurrahman Yahya explained that KASUPDa has recorded eight four per cent (84%) performance on the mobile advertisements revenue line for this year, 2025 which he expressed determination to achieve more for the 2026.
He attributed the landmark achievements recorded on the opportunity given to KASUPDA by His Excellency, Malam Uba Sani to operate according to the rules and guides of the Authority.
While pledged his commitment to look on some challenges, the DG also appreciated the supervising Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, critical stakeholders, consultants, management team, staff and the general public for their support and co-operation which enabled KASUPDA to recorded a great success.
Participants at the event were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government, Hon. Kabir Jarimi, consultants, critical stakeholders, representatives from the Mimistry of Housing and Urban Development, Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State House of Assembly, KASTLEA, FRSC, Commandant Civil Defence Corps among others.

In their separate comments, participants commended KASUPDA for the initiatives and pledged continue support for the success while general public were advised to obey the government’s directives.
