IMCOOPS Appreciates Stakeholders for Successful Sensitization Workshop on Cooperative Development

 

The Impact Multipurpose Cooperative Society (IMCOOPS), in collaboration with Tranquil Way Limited, has expressed profound appreciation to all participants, partners, facilitators, and stakeholders for their invaluable contributions to the successful Sensitization Workshop on Cooperative Society Development, themed “Strengthening Cooperative Capacity for Sustainable Economic Growth.”

The workshop, held on Thursday, 18th December 2025, at Sheikh Ɗahiru Usman Bauchi Hall, Tudun Wada, Kaduna State, convened a diverse and influential gathering of cooperative leaders, entrepreneurs, development practitioners, policymakers, and community stakeholders. The event provided a robust and strategic platform for in-depth discussions on cooperative governance, institutional capacity building, financial inclusion, regulatory compliance, and practical pathways for sustainable and inclusive economic development.

In her remarks, the President of IMCOOPS, Hajiya Maryam Ibrahim, charged participants to effectively apply the knowledge and insights gained from the workshop toward strengthening internal governance structures, promoting accountability, and building resilient cooperative institutions capable of driving sustainable economic growth.

IMCOOPS commends the high level of participation, the quality of technical contributions, and the robust engagement demonstrated by attendees, all of which significantly enriched the deliberations and outcomes of the programme. The Society notes that the collective commitment and enthusiasm displayed during the workshop further underscore the critical role of cooperative societies as engines for inclusive growth, job creation, financial empowerment, and grassroots economic transformation.

The Society also acknowledges the strategic partnership and support of Tranquil Way Limited, facilitators, resource persons, and all collaborating institutions whose expertise and dedication contributed immensely to the success of the event.
