National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Dr Iyorchia Ayu has approved the appointment of Alhaji Yusuf Abubakar Dingyadi as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media and Communication.
Dingyadi’s appointment letter dated July 26, 2022, assigned by the National Secretary of the Party, Senator Samuel N Anyanwu indicated that the appointment took effect from July 1, 2022.
Dingyadi, a seasoned and veteran Journalist has worked in different capacities in the media spanning over two decades before venturing into politics.
He served under Late Shehu Musa Yar’Adua’s media team of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), appointed as a media aide to Late Abubakar Koko (Sarkin Yakin Gwandu), former Governor Attahiru Bafarawa and Governor Aminu Tambuwal respectively.
He is a member of PDP Northern Caucus of Media Professionals, Youths Forum, a former employee of many news outlets include BBC Hausa, correspondent of Reporter/Nasiha Newspapers among others.
In political space, Yusuf Dingyadi has been privileged to serve as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) PDP Sokoto state, Secretary Caretaker PDP Kebbi and different Ad-hoc committees of PDP at both local and national levels.
He is married with children and he has been privileged to travel widely across the globe to improve his social and professional capacity.
