Governor Radda Greets Muttaqha Rabe on Ministerial Appointment

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has congratulated Dr. Muttaqha Rabe Darma on his appointment as the new Minister of Housing and Urban Development.

In a statement Signed by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Katsina State on 24 April, 2026, the statement revealed that

The Governor expressed confidence in Dr. Darma’s ability to drive progress in the housing and urban development sector at the national level.

Governor Radda described the appointment as a recognition of Dr. Darma’s competence, dedication, and leadership qualities.

“We are proud to see one of our own elevated to this important national position. Dr. Muttaqha Rabe Darma brings integrity and vision to the Ministry. I have no doubt he will serve this nation with distinction,” the Governor said.

Governor Radda, on behalf of the government and people of Katsina State, wished the new Minister success as he takes on the responsibilities of the office.

Governor Radda commended President Bola Tinubu for the ministerial appointment.

“This appointment demonstrates Mr. President’s commitment to assembling capable hands to drive national development. We appreciate his continued confidence in leaders from Katsina State,” the Governor said.

Governor Radda also commended Hon. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa for his remarkable achievements in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.

The Governor acknowledged the dedication and hard work of Dangiwa service to the nation, noting that his efforts have set a solid foundation for his successor.
