On receiving the news of the passing-on of the Faskari District Head, Governor Masari lamented that the state had lost a quiet gentleman who was regularly sought for his wise counsel.

He had distinguished himself very well as a civil servant, and had done so again as a traditional ruler, who was so loved as much by his people as by most of those who had interacted with him. His death has robbed Katsina State and the people of the state his wise counsel and avuncular conviviality”. Governor Masari added.
While condoling the people of Faskari District, he urged the immediate family of the deceased to take consideration on the fact that their patriarch had made his mark and lived a fulfilled life every bereaved should be proud of.
