Former Commissioner of water resources in the state, Honourable Abdulkakir Ahmad Tsafe has shifted his loyality from ex-governor Yari’s Camp to Governor Matawalle’s political dragnet in Zamfara.
The former water resources commissioner made a formal declaration today at state APC Secretariat, Sokoto bye-pass road, Gusau when he visited the state Chairman, Honourable Tukur Umar Danfulani.
Honourable Abdulkakir Ahmad Tsafe said he took the decisionm along with thousands of his supporters to join the realistic political train of Governor Matawalle which he also described as the only genuine APC in the state
He added that APC under the leadership of Governor Matawalle is waxing more formidable and stronger political party in the state.
He also commended the smooth conduct of the state APC Congresses which he described as the most peaceful and organised under the watch of Governor Bello Matawalle
He further commended the leadership qualities of governor Matawalle for carrying every body along in the conduct of the party activities.
The former Commissioner told the party chairman that a lot of people that were hitherto loyal to the camp of the former governor will continue to ditch it because of the way and manner the party is being handled now.
Welcoming the former Commissioner into the mainstream APC under governor Matawalle, the state APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani said he was highly elated with the decision of Honourable Abdulkakir Ahmad Tsafe to join the realistic political train of Governor Matawalle which is recognised nationally and fully accepted by the citizens of the state.
Alhaji Tukur Umar added that the wise decision of the former Commissioner of Water Resources to join the Progressives in the state is a right decision which in turn will make him feel more comfortable and rewarding.
He assured him of equal treatment and opportunity at all levels of politicking and urged him to continue to extend his tentacles to mobilize more people to join in his new political movement of Governor Matawalle.
The event was attended by the Secretary of the party, Honourable Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima, Organising Secretary, Alhaji Bashir Ahmad, Welfare Secretary, Alhaji Bashir Idris Ataka, State APC Youth leader, Alhaji Musa Ardo, Special Adviser to the governor on Political Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Maaji, Assistant Publicity Secretary Junaidu Attahiru Dosara and Assistant Organising Secretary, Alhaji Bello Mahe among others.
